News CHESS RUMBLE was named an American Library Association Notable Book for 2008! That means it has been deemed 'the Best of the Best' out of the thousands of books released last year. To be on the same list as J.K Rowlings, Al Gore, Christopher Paul Curtis, Peter Sis, Rosemary Wells, Jacqueline Woodson, and Gary Schmidt is quite an honor, especially for our little book! We've also received a Bank Street College of Education Best Book of the Year nod and a NCTE / IRA Notable Book honor as well! ..............................................................................................
